Frank has been a member of the Omaha-Suburban Rotary Club since 1972. He served as president of the club in 1986-87 and served District 5650 as district govenor in 1992-93. Frank is a receipient of Rotary's “Service Above Self” award and The Rotary Foundation's Citation for Meritorious Service.
He served as a Sergeant-at-Arms at the International Convention in Melbourne, Australia in 1993. He chaired the 1994 Institute in Omaha. He served as a Group Discussion Leader at the International Assemblies in Anahiem, California in 1995 and 1996. Frank served on RI Task Forces on Hunger and Poverty, and Literacy and Education. In 1995, he served on the Director's Nominating Committee for Zone 27. Frank and Leanne have served on many Zone Institute Committees since 1993. Most recently he completed two years as a Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator and is currently serving as Zone Membership Coordinator. In addition, Leanne and Frank have represented the Presidents of Rotary at District Conferences in Colorado, Wisconsin, California, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Florida, and Canada.
On the District Level Frank has served as chairman of the following committees: Membership, The Rotary Foundation, Extension, Flood Relief, District Governor Nomination, Finance and World Community Service. He also served as District Treasurer and as Seminar Leader for The Rotary Foundation and Membership Development.
Frank is a partner in an accounting firm, which he co-founded in 1982. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of CPA's. In 1992, he received the Nebraska Governor's “Award for Philanthropic Planning”. He has served on a bank advisory board and has served as a member and officer of many local non-profit and civic organizations.
Frank and Leanne are Paul Harris Fellows, Benefactors, and have been recognized as Major Donors to The Rotary Foundation. They are the parents of three children, Steve, Bob(daughter-in-law, Kim), Rachel(son-in-law, Christopher), and grand-daughter Lily, all Paul Harris Fellows. Bob is also a member of the Omaha-Surburban Rotary Club.
Frank has been selected to represent North Central US Zones 27 and 28 as a member of the Board of Directors of Rotary International from July1, 2005 through June 30, 2007.
